Sedangkan konsentrasi hormon IAA terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: H0 = tanpa hormon IAA (kontrol), H1 = konsentrasi hormon IAA 100 ppm (100 mg/l), H2 = konsentrasi hormon IAA 200 ppm (200 mg/l), H3 = konsentrasi hormon IAA 300 ppm (300 mg/l). Variabel pengamatan meliputi : umur muncul tunas (hari), persentase tumbuh stek (%), panjang tunas (cm), jumlah daun (helai), jumlah akar, panjang akar (cm), dan volume akar (ml). Thongsamsi rose apple (Syzygium equeum) is a fruit plant that is widely known by the public to be used as fresh fruit food for direct consumption. It guava is widely found in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. This study aims to know the effect of the source of cuttings and the concentration of the hormone Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) on the growth of thongsamsi guava cuttings. This research method used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors, namely: the source of the cuttings and the concentration of the IAA hormone. The source of the cuttings consisted of 3 levels of treatment, namely: B1 = secondary branch cuttings of the pus, B2 = middle cuttings of secondary branches, and B3 = lower secondary branch cuttings. While the concentration of IAA hormone consisted of 4 levels, namely: H0 = without IAA hormone (control), H1 = IAA hormone concentration 100 ppm (100 mg/l), H2 = IAA hormone concentration 200 ppm (200 mg/l), H3 = IAA hormone concentration is 300 ppm (300 mg/l). Variables include: age of shoot emergence (days), percentage of cuttings growth (%), shoot length (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of roots, root length (cm), and root volume (ml). the results of this study showed that the secondary branch cuttings of the rose apple thongsamsi plant had a very significant effect on each observation parameter and the concentration of the IAA hormone had a very significant effect on each observation parameter.en_US
