Sample in this study were eary adults in lingkungan II Kelurahan Simpang Selayang Medan were 61 people experienced quarterlife crisis and the sampling technique were taken used purposive sampling. Data collection method used were spread the self-acceptance scale and the quarterlife crisis scale with likert scale format. Data analysis used Correlation Product Moment Pearson. Based on the data analysis was found correlation coefficient (rxy) = -0,534 with sig. = 0,000 < 0,05. These results indicate hypothesis proposed in study was accepted, the means between self-acceptance with quarterlife crisis has a negative correlation. Baseb on hypothetical and empirical calculation, self-acceptance is classified as high, where the hypothetic mean 102,5, which is less than the empiric mean 115, 74 and the quarterlife crisis is classified as medium, where the hypothetic mean is 100, which is less than the empiric mean 100,34. The effective contribution of self acceptance to quarterlife crisis was 28.5%. Other factors were not examined in this study amounted to 71,5% there is social condition, environmental, tradition and culture as well as the demands of life. |
