This study aims to determine the correlation between perceptions of the physical work environment and employee motivation at PT. Halindo Berjaya Mandiri. This research method uses quantitative methods. With the hypothesis that there is a positive correlation between perceptions of the physical work environment and employee motivation, the better the physical work environment, the higher the work motivation and vice versa. The population and sample in this study were 40 employees, the sampling technique in this study used Total Sampling. The form of the scale in this study is the Likert scale. Data analysis in this study is using Product moment correlation from Karl Person. Thus the results of the study were obtained which proved that there was a positive correlation between perceptions of the physical work environment and employee motivation. This result is based on the value of rxy = 0.329 with a significant value of P (Sig) 0.038 <0.050. This means that the hypothesis proposed can be accepted. with a determinant coefficient (R²) = 0.108 so that it is known that the contribution of the physical work environment to work motivation is 10.8% and the rest is influenced by other factors. It is known that the results of the hypothetical mean and empirical data show that the variable perception of the physical work environment is in the moderate category of 77.5 with an empirical mean of 66.20. While the work motivation variable is in the medium category with a hypothetical mean of 55 and an empirical mean value of 64.55. |
