This study aims to determine the correlation between job satisfaction and work discipline in outsourced employees of PT PLN Medan Baru Customer Service Unit. Work discipline is individual compliance with rules or orders that have been set by the company and are ready to be penalized if they violate any existing rules. The sample in this study amounted to 70 outsourced employees. The sampling technique used is Total Sampling. The total sampling technique is a sampling technique where the number of samples is equal to the total population. The form of the scale used is the Likert scale, in which there are two scales, namely the job satisfaction scale and the work discipline scale. The results of the study using the product moment correlation technique from Karl Pearson (rxy) are known to be 0.648 with P=0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and work discipline which shows that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the employee work discipline, and the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is known that outsourced employee job satisfaction is classified as moderate with a hypothetical mean (67.5) > empirical mean (63,386) and the difference exceeds one elementary school (10,119). The work discipline of outsourced employees is moderate with a hypothetical mean (55) > empirical mean (53.2) and the difference exceeds one elementary school (7,886). There is a contribution of job satisfaction with work discipline of 42%. Thus there is still 58% contribution from other factors or encouragement from within the individual.
