dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai di Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini merupakan pegawai Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 73 pegawai dan sudah terdaftar sebagai pegawai tetap. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Likert untuk skala lingkungan kerja dan skala kepuasan kerja dan observasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan korelasi Product Moment dari Karl Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara lingkungan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,424. 2) Hasil uji determinasi diperoleh sebesar 0,180. Yang berarti lingkungan kerja memiliki kontribusi terhadap meningkatnya kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Narkotika Nasional Sumatera Utara yaitu sebesar 18,0%. Sementara sisanya sebesar 82,0% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Mean hipotetik dan mean empirik lingkungan kerja berada dikategori positif karena mean hipotetik (75) lebih besar daripada mean empirik (65,11), dengan SD sebesar (7,241) dan kepuasan kerja berada pada kategori positif, sebab mean hipotetik (82,5) lebih besar daripada mean empirik (69,90), dengan SD sebesar (6,750). This study aims to determine the correlation between work environment and employee job satisfaction at the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province. This research uses quantitative research methods. The subjects in this study were employees of the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province. The number of samples in this study was 73 employees registered as permanent employees. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique. The data collection method uses a Likert scale for the work environment, job satisfaction, and observation scales. The data analysis method uses Karl Pearson’s Product Moment correlation. The results showed the following gains: 1) There is a positive correlation between the work environment and job satisfaction of the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province employees. The study result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.424. 2) The determination test results amounted to 0.180, which means that the work environment has contributed to increasing the job satisfaction of employees of the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province by 18.0%. In comparison, the remaining 82.0% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The hypothetical mean and empirical mean of the work environment are in a positive category because the hypothetical mean (75) is greater than the empirical mean (65.11), with an SD of (7,241) and job satisfaction is in a positive category. After all, the hypothetical menad (82.5) is greater than the empirical mean (69.90), with an SD of (6,750).en_US
