dc.description.abstract | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah energi yang mampu diserap (ketangguhan) bahan beton kolom silinder (BKS) dengan menggunakan metode penyerapan energi dan menganalisis perbandingan antara kuat tarik belah (KTB) dengan Energi ketangguhan bahan (EKB) dari hasil uji tarik belah spesimen BKS diperkuat KLJ. Berdasarkan grafik hasil uji tarik belah spesimen beton kolom slinder (BKS) diperkuat komposit laminat jute (KLJ). Pengujian kuat tarik belah menggunakan alat uji Universal Testing Machine, dan bahan baku yang di gunakan untuk pembuatan spesimen yaitu semen, pasir, kerikil, air, lembar jute, resin epoxy dan hardener. Cetakan spesimen beton mengunakan cetakan dengan mengikuti standar uji ASTM C496 yang memiliki diameter 50mm dan tinggi 150mm. Jumlah variasi spesimen pada penelitian ini berjumlah 5 variasi, yang diantaranya: variasi 1 (spesimen tanpa selubung), variasi 2 (spesimen jute lapis 1), variasi 3 (spesimen jute lapis 2), variasi 4 (spesimen jute lapis 3), dan variasi 5 (spesimen jute lapis 4), yang di setiap variasinya memiliki 3 spesimen pengulangan. Hasil penelitian ini ialah ketangguhan bahan maksimum rata-rata diperoleh pada jumlah selubung KLJ pada 4 lapisan, yaitu sebesar 810,216 Joule atau mengalami peningkatan energi ketangguhan rata-rata hingga 17800% terhadap spesimen tanpa selubung, begitu pula pada hasil perbandingan antara kuat tarik belah dan energi ketangguhan bahannya, semakin banyak laminat yang melapisi beton kolom silinder maka semakin besar pula kuat tarik belah dan energi ketangguhan bahan. The purpose of this study is to calculate the amount of energythat can be absorbed (toughness) of the material based on the graph of the results of the split tensile test of cylinder column concrete specimens (BKS) reinforced with laminated jute composite (KLJ) and analysis of the comparison between split tensile strength (KTB) and material toughness from the results split tensile test of BKS specimen reinforced by KLJ. The test specimens were printed based on the ASTM C496 test standard using the Vacuum Bagging method. Specimen variations consist of 1 to 4 layers ofKLJ and one variation without KLJ sheath as a control specimen. The split tensile test used the UTM test tool with each variation being carried out with 3 repetitions. Calculation of Material Toughness Energy (EKB) using the Trapezoidal Numerical Integration method. The results of the study showed that giving KLJ boosters to BKS was able to increase EKB up to more than 1000% starting with 2 layers of sheathing. Thus the provision of KLJ to BKS can be recommendedas a strengthening material for concrete column structures. | en_US |
