Abstract: PLTU Unit 3 Belawan adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga uap yang menggunakan bahan bakar Marine Fuel Oil dengan daya terpasang 65 MW, namun sekarang ini daya mampunya hanya 40 MW. Penurunan daya mampu atau derating disebabkan karena kehandalan dari masing-masing komponen PLTU telah menurn juga. Penurunan derating dapat dihitung dengan alaisis heat rate. Pada commissioning PLTU Unit 3 nilai Turbin Heat Rate 2.187,4 kcal/kWh dan Nett Plant Heat Rate nilainya 2.435,26 kcal/kWh. Saat ini nilai Turbine Heat Rate 2.806,7 kcal/kWh dan nilai Nett Plant Heat Rate 3.453,9 kcal/kWh. Terjadi penurunan performa peralatan-peralatan PLTU Unit 3 pada System Feed Water Heater, Suplay Main Steam, Condenser, dan Other Losses. PLTU Unit 3 Belawan is a steam power plant that uses Marine Fuel Oil fuel with installed power of 65 MW, but now it can only power 40 MW. The decrease in power capable or derating is due to the reliability of each component of the steam power plant as well. Derating derivation can be calculated by heat rate analysis. In commissioning of PLTU Unit 3 Turbine Heat Rate 2,187.4 kcal / kWh and Nett Plant Heat Rate is 2,435,26 kcal / kWh. Currently the Turbine Heat Rate value is 2,806.7 kcal / kWh and the NPHR value is 3,453.9 kcal / kWh. There is a decrease in the performance of PLTU Unit 3 equipments in System Feed Water Heater, Main Steam Supplier, Condenser, and Other Losses.
