dc.description.abstract | Jalan raya adalah salah satu prasarana yang akan mempercepat pertumbuhan dan pengembangan suatu daerah serta akan membuka hubungan sosial, ekonomi dan budaya antar daerah. Namun, sarana ini seringkali mengalami kerusakan. Pada kasus jalan di Indonesia banyak terjadi kerusakan khususnya pada jalan di perkerasan lentur. Hal ini disebabkan oleh volume lalu lintas yang tidak sesuai dengan volume rencana, perubahan iklim yang ekstrim, kualitas tanah dasar yang tidak baik dan kualitas bahan perkerasan yang tidak memenuhi standar acuan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan tinjauan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mementukan lapisan perkerasan jalan agar jalan tersebut kuat sesuai dengan umur rencana, menentukan tebal lapis perkerasan.Metode perhitungan merupakan salah satu faktor dalam mendesain tebal perkerasan lentur. Ada beberapa metode mendesain tebal perkerasan lentur, namun untuk penelitian ini menggunakan metode Bina Marga 2017. Pengamatan yang dilakukan pada Jalan Gatot Subroto km 4-5 dengan panjang ruas jalan 1 km ini bertujuan untuk menghitung tebal lapis perkerasan (flexible pavement ) Hasil perhitungan lalu lintas didapat pada nilai CESA (Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle) menurut bina marga 2017 CESA 4 2.805.058 ESAL. CESA 5 2.800.789 ESAL Selain itu dilakukan menghitung lapis perkerasaan jalan yang berpedoman Metode Bina Marga 2017. Dengan umur rencana 20 tahun maka didapat lapisan perkerasan 10 cm. Highways are one of the infrastructures that will accelerate the growth and development of an area and will open up social, economic and cultural relations between regions. However, these facilities are often damaged. In the case of roads in Indonesia, there is a lot of damage, especially on roads with flexible pavements. This is caused by the traffic volume that is not in accordance with the planned volume, extreme climate change, subgrade quality that is not good and the quality of pavement materials that do not meet the reference standards. Therefore it is necessary to do a review to find out what factors determine the road pavement layer so that the road is strong according to the design age, determine the thickness of the pavement layer. The calculation method is one of the factors in designing flexible pavement thickness. There are several methods for designing the thickness of flexible pavement, but for this study the Bina Marga 2017 method was used. Observations made on Jalan Gatot Subroto km 4-5 with a road length of 1 km aim to calculate the thickness of the flexible pavement. The results of traffic calculations obtained at the CESA (Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle) value according to the 2017 CESA 4 2,805,058 ESAL clan clan.
