Abstract: | Polusi masih menjadi masalah lingkungan utama di dunia. Pollution is still a major environmental issue in the world. Air, water, soil, chemical, and metal pollution are often found in the environment. Among these pollutions, air pollution is the most common cause of death. In Medan City, 60% of air pollution comes from the transportation sector. In 2019, the number of motor vehicles in Medan City reached 275,375 units, consisting of passenger cars, buses, trucks, and motorcycles. The industrial sector accounted for 25%, household waste accounted for 10%, and the rest came from garbage. Therefore, an air pollution monitoring system is needed to monitor air pollution conditions in Medan City. This study focuses on the application of the Naïve Bayes method to determine the level of air quality using 249,364 pollution data obtained from devices installed at three locations in Medan City, namely Sei Deli, Tembung, and KIM roads, for one month of experimentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the air quality in the three locations in Medan City is still classified as moderate, and only at certain times is it categorized as unhealthy. |
