This study aims to determine part of mahogany plant that contains the most secondary metabolite compounds Flavonoids, Alkaloids and Saponins from the mahogany plant (Swietenia mahagony) which was carried out at the Natural Materials Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of MIFA, University of North Sumatra and the Belawan Customs and Excise Office. The method used in this study is an experimental and descriptive method by observing the changes that occur in the sample such as color changes and the formation of foam and looking at the total levels of flavonoids, alkaloids and saponins using Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy. Phytochemical analysis was carried out to identify secondary metabolites which included flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, triterpenoid saponins and steroids. The results of the GC-MS analysis of the part of the mahogany plant that had the highest retention time was mahogany seed extract with a total retention time of 46,484 in which there were compounds in the form of alpha.-D Glucopyranoside, .3-Penten-2-one, and gamma.-Tocopherol which are groups of flavonoids and saponins which have the potential as COVID-19 drugs and found to contain terpenoid, steroid and fatty acid group compounds which have the potential as COVID-19 drugs. These compounds include alpha humulene, neophytadiene, n- Hexadecanoic acid, 9- Octadecenoic acid, Octadecanoic acid, Squalen and Stigmasterol
