dc.description.abstract | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa kinerja pembangkit listrik jenis turbin Whirlpool dengan menggunakan 5 bilah sudu dan untuk mengetahui data yang di peroleh dari hasil penelitian terdistribusi normal atau tidak, dengan melakukan uji Normalitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, survei, studi dokumen. Tahapan prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi persiapan alat uji, pengecekan alat uji dan bahan uji, melakukan percobaan dan pengukuran, mencatat data yang di dapat, dan mengitung hasil data yang di dapat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 7 kali percobaan menggunakan jumlah sudu turbin 5 bilah dan dengan debit air 0,011 𝑚3/s, atau sekitar 11 liter/detik. Dan dengan ketinggian 67 cm atau 0,67 m. Dari hasil pengukuran di peroleh rata-rata hasil perhitungan dari daya air 72,083 watt, daya generator 4,897 watt, torsi 0,261 Nm, daya turbin 2,996 watt, efesiensi 6,794 %, dan kecepatan keliling turbin sebesar 11,470 rad/s. Daya generator yang paling tinggi di peroleh dari percobaan ke empat yaitu sebesar 5,341 watt, nilai torsi yang paling tertinggi di peroleh pada percobaan ke lima yaitu sebesar 0,268 Nm, kemudian nilai kecepatan turbin dengan beban generator tertinggi diperoleh pada percobaan ke tiga yaitu sebesar 10,707 Rpm, dan untuk nilai tertinggi dari kecepatan keliling turbin tanpa beban di peroleh pada percobaan pertama yaitu sebesar 11,942 Rpm, Nilai daya turbin beban generator tertinggi di peroleh pada percobaan ke tiga yaitu sebesar 2,811 Watt, untuk nilai daya turbin tanpa beban tertinggi diperoleh pada percobaan ke tiga sebesar 3,062 Watt, dan untuk nilai efesiensi turbin tertinggi diperoleh dari percobaan ke empat sebesar 7,410 %. Rata-rata daya listrik yang di hasilkan sebesar 4,897 watt. The purpose of this research is to find out how the performance of a Whirlpool turbine type power plant uses 5 blade blades and to find out whether the data obtained from the research results is normally distributed or not, by carrying out the Normality test. This study uses data collection techniques with observation techniques, surveys, document studies. The stages of the research procedure carried out included preparing the test equipment, checking the test equipment and test material, conducting experiments and measurements, recording the data obtained, and calculating the results of the data obtained. This research was conducted with 7 trials using a total of 5 turbine blades and a water flow rate of 0,011 m^3/s, or about 11 liters/second. And with a height of 67 cm or 0,67 m. From the measurement results, the average calculation result is obtained from water power of 72,083 watts, generator power of 4,897 watts, torque of 0,261 Nm, turbine power of 2,996 watts, efficiency of 6,794 %, and turbine circumference of 11.470 rad/s. The highest generator power was obtained from the fourth experiment which was 5,341 watts, the highest torque value was obtained in the fifth experiment which was 0,268 Nm, then the turbine speed value with the highest generator load was obtained in the third experiment which was 10 ,707 Rpm, and for the highest value of the circular speed of the turbine without load, it was obtained in the first experiment, which was 11,942 Rpm. The highest generator load turbine power value was obtained in the third experiment, which was 2,811 Watt, for the turbine power value without The highest load was obtained in the third experiment of 3,062 Watt, and the highest turbine efficiency value was obtained in the fourth experiment of 7,410 %.
