dc.description.abstractPenelitian dan pengamatan terhadap teknisi dalam membersihkan ruang bakar mesin mobil, diketahui bahwa asap yang dihasilkan dari pembersihan ruang bakar mesin mobil ini tidak langsung keluar bersirkulasi menuju udara luar, melainkan tetap bertahan di dalam ruangan bengkel, dan ini menyebabkan temperatur suhu di ruangan bengkel tidak nyaman sehingga peneliti mengusulkan perlu dilakukan tindakan pencegahan asap yang dihasilkan dari pembersihan ruang bakar mesin mobil kepada bengkel agar asap yang dihasilkan dalam membersihkan ruang bakar mesin ini dapat dicegah dan diminimalisir. Tindakan pencegahan dilakukan sesuai dengan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan memprioritaskan pernyataan pencegahan asap yang dihasilkan dari pembersihan ruang bakar mesin mobil dari nilai rata-rata tertinggi hingga yang terendah, tingkat kebutuhan terhadap pencegahan asap yang dihasilkan dari pembersihan ruang bakar mesin mobil adalah pertama yaitu ventilasi udara, kedua yaitu turbin ventilator, ketiga yaitu topi pelindung (helm), keempat yaitu Penutup Hidung dan Mulut (Masker), kelima yaitu Sarung tangan, keenam yaitu Sepatu pengaman, ketujuh yaitu pengawasan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja, kedelapan yaitu kaca mata pengaman dan kesembilan yaitu asuransi. Research and observation of the technicians in cleaning the engine combustion chamber, it is known that the smoke generated from the cleaning of the engine combustion chamber is not directly out to the outside air circulation, but still remained in the workshop room, and this causes the temperature in the workshop room is uncomfortable so the researcher proposed that it needs precaution of smoke generated from the cleaning of the engine combustion chamber into the workshop room in order to prevent and minimize the smoke production. Preventive action is taken agree with the results of research conducted by prioritizing the statements of smoke prevention generated from the cleaning of the engine combustion chamber from the average value of the highest to the lowest, the level of need for the preventions of smoke generated from the cleaning of the engine combustion chamber are first, air vents; second, turbine ventilators; third, safety helmets; fourth, maskers; fifth, safety gloves; sixth, safety shoes; seventh, health and safety at work; eighth, safety glasses; and ninth, insurance.en_US
