dc.description.abstractOleh sebab banyaknya pengguna PC dan interface dalam peralatan listrik dalam berbagai bidang, maka untuk mendapatkan kerja yang optimal serta efficiency yang baik dari PC tersebut, berbagai jenis peralatan perantaranya telah dirancang oleh berbagai pihak. Salah satunya ialah Optocoupler jenis NEC 255 yang akan diselidiki dalam Tugas Akhir ini. Penggunaan optocoupler sangat luas, tidak hanya untuk peralatan tertentu melainkan juga untuk pengendalian system control sebagai switch elektronik peralatan-peralatan listrik yang ada di pabrik-pabrik, peralatan rumah tangga, automobil, dan sebagainya. Hal ini di karenakan equipment optocoupler merupakan piranti elektronika yang berftmgsi sebagai pemisah an tara rangkaian power dengan rangkaian control.
