dc.description.abstract | Proses pemecahan biji kemiri khususnya dalam sebuah usaha dagang masyarakat biasa masih tergolong sederhana dengan alat seadanya. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya teknologi yang memadai. Adapun tahapan dalam pemecahan kemiri pada umumnya melewati beberapa tahapan dimulai dari penjemuran, pendinginan, pemecahan lewat mesin dan pencungkilan kembali. Keadaan posisi duduk pekerja yang tidak baik pada saat pencungkilan mengharuskan adanya perbaikan pada antropometri pekerja. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka dilakukan perancangan alat yang bisa memperbaiki posisi tubuh pekerja. Dengan menggunakan metode RULA maka dilakukan sebuah perancangan alat yang datanya didapat dari pengukuran antropometri pekerja. Proses perancangan alat pemecah biji kemiri harus melewati beberapa tahapan yang dimulai dari mencari ukuran sebuah alat berdasarkan antropometri pekerja, dilanjutkan dengan tahapan pengembangan konsep, tahap pengembangan sistem dan terakhir tahap pengembangan sistem. Hasil dari perancangan alat ini memberikan perubahan pada posisi tubuh pekerja yang lebih baik. The cracking candlenut kernels process, especially in ordinary people's trading businesses, is still relatively simple using the available tools. This is due to a lack of adequate technology. The stages in cracking candlenuts generally go through several steps. They started from drying, cooling, breaking by a machine, and re-gouging. The worker's poor sitting position condition during gouging requires improvements to the worker's anthropometry. To overcome this problem, a tool was designed that could improve the worker's body position. A tool design was carried out using the biomechanical method, and data was obtained from workers' anthropometric measurements. The designing process of a candlenut cracking tool must go through several stages, starting from finding the tool size based on the worker's anthropometry, then the concept development stage, the system development stage, and lastly, the system development stage. The results of designing this tool provided changes to the worker's body position for the better. | en_US |
