The study aims to examine the relationship between social support and addiction counselor coping strategies at the "INSYAF" center in Medan. This research uses a quantitative research method. In this study, 44 people were taken. Social support is measured based on aspects of social support according to House (in Andarini, 2013): Emotional Support, Appreciation Support, Instrumental Support and Information Support. Coping strategies are measured based on coping strategy aspects according to Hakim & Rahmawati (2015): self-activity, planning, self- control, seeking instrumental social support, seeking emotional social support, acceptance, and religiosity. Based on the calculation results of the product moment correlation analysis, it can be seen that there is a positive relationship between social support and coping strategies. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.996, with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.993. This shows that social support is distributed at 99.30% of coping strategies.Based on the results of the social support classification, it was classified as moderate with a mean assumed value of 80,000 and an experimental mean of 66,523. 66,136.en_US
