Abstract: | Karyawan sebagai sumber daya aktif merupakan salah satu faktor penting bagi kelancaran suatu proses produksi dalam suatu perusahaan. Kemampuan karyawan yang profesional dan produktif mampu memberikan input positif yang dapat menguntungkan bagi perusahaan baik dalam produksinya maupun dalam organisasinya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan metode Work Ability Index (WAI) di lintasan produksi PT. Nusantara Door Industry (NDI) diketahui gambaran kemampuan kerja karyawan dengan kategori good sebanyak 18 orang, kategori moderate sebanyak 10 orang dan kategori poor sebanyak 2 orang dari jumlah total karyawan sebanyak 30 orang, artinya tingkat kemampuan kerja tenaga kerja di lintasan produksi PT. Nusantara Door Industry (NDI) secara ratarata adalah baik dengan persentase kategori good sebesar 60 persen. Namun, terdapat 40 persen karyawan yang kategori kemampuan kerjanya diartikan tidak baik sehingga perusahaan perlu melakukan restore work ability. Kondisi ini diperkuat dengan menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan kerja karyawan seperti analisis usia, lama bekerja dan pendidikan karyawan yang memberikan informasi bahwa kemampuan kerja karyawan di perusahaan ini perlu dilakukan restore work ability. Jika kondisi kemampuan kerja saat ini tidak segera diatasi oleh pihak perusahaan maka kinerja karyawan tidak akan meningkat dan merugikan perusahaan. Employees as active resources are a significant factor in the smooth running of a production process in a company. Professional and productive employees can provide positive input that can benefit the company, both in its production and organization. Based on the results of research using the Work Ability Index (WAI) method on the production line of PT. Nusantara Door Industry (NDI) described the work ability of employees in the good category as 18 people, the moderate ones as 10 people, and the poor ones as 2 people out of the total number of employees of 30 people, meaning that the level of workability of the workforce at the production line of PT. Nusantara Door Industry (NDI) on average was good with a good category percentage of 60 percent. However, the workability category of 40 percent of employees was categorized as not good, so the company needed to restore workability. This condition was strengthened by analyzing factors that influenced employee work ability, such as age analysis, length of work, and employee education, which provided information that the workability of employees in this company needed to be restored. If the company does not immediately address the current condition of workability, employee performance will not improve and will be detrimental to the company. |
