Work discipline is an attitude and behavior that is carried out voluntarily with full awareness and willingness to follow the rules set by the organization or superior, both written and unwritten. One of the factors that encourages work discipline is locus of control because with locus of control a person will act and be able to control themselves and maintain themselves in positive things. This research aims to see the relationship between locus of control and work discipline. The subjects in this research were 50 civil servants at the Padang Bulan Community Health Center using total sampling techniques. The analysis method used is Product Moment and a very significant positive relationship was obtained between locus of control and work discipline, which means that the higher the locus of control of Civil Servants, the higher their work discipline. On the other hand, the lower the locus of control of civil servants, the lower their work discipline, as indicated by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.478. The research results show that work discipline and locus of control are categorized as low because the average empirical value is smaller than the hypothetical mean where the average empirical value of locus of control is 50.20 while the hypothetical average value is 57.5. and the empirical average value of work discipline is 71.70 while the hypothetical average value is 75. The coefficient of determinant of locus of control regarding work discipline is distributed at r2= 22.8% and the remainder is still heavily influenced by other factors.
