The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between workload and work stress among health workers at the Lubuk Pakam Community Health Center. This research method is a quantitative method. The population of this research was 72 employees and the sample used was 36 employees. In determining the sample, the technique used is a purposive sampling technique. The technique used for data collection is to use a scale, where this psychological scale is in the form of a questionnaire, namely a workload scale with a work stress scale. Based on the results of the analysis using the correlation analysis method, it is known that there is a significant positive correlation between workload and work stress seen from the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.785 with p = 0.000 < 0.050, meaning that there is a significant positive correlation between workload and work stress. The higher the workload, the higher the employee's work stress. The contribution of workload to work stress can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2), namely 0.616, which means the contribution of workload to work stress is 61.6%. In this study, the workload for health workers was classified as high, based on the empirical average value obtained (67.42) which was greater than the hypothetical average value (55). Furthermore, it is known that work stress among health workers is also relatively high, this is based on the empirical average value obtained (83.61) which is greater than the hypothetical average value (70).
