UD. Karya is the Red Brick Home Industry of Tanjung Mulia Village Deli Serdang Regency, which was founded in 2010, is one of the industries households engaged in brick production using processes manufacture and sale of bricks. In the red brick home industry process Production is still not optimal, because activities are still encountered which has no added value (non value added), resulting in the occurrence of waste, the existence of waste will certainly have an impact on the Manufacturing Lead Time value and the process cycle efficiency value in the process production. Waste that occurs, such as unnecessary movement (motion), waiting time (waiting), damage to the product (defect). Waste is any work activity that does not provide additional value (non value added) in the process of changing input into output throughout the process to create, produce and deliver goods or services. So Therefore, this research aims to eliminate and provide recommendations for improvements to the home industry to improve the process brick production. The method used is the waste assessment method model which has three stages, namely: 1. Seven Waste Relationship, 2. Waste Relationship Matrix, 3. Waste assessment questionnaire. So the waste results are obtained The highest detected ones are Defect, Waiting, Motion.en_US
