Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara body image dengan kepercayaan diri remaja putri di MAN 2 Model Medan. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu remaja putri/siswi MAN 2 Model dengan sample penelitian sebanyak 68 siswi. Metode pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Metode analisis data dengan r Product Moment. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala body image dan skala kepercayaan diri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert untuk body image dan kepercayaan diri. Hipotesis penelitian ini terdapat hubungan positif antara body image dengan kepercayaan diri pada remaja putri di MAN 2 Model Medan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, perhitungan pada analisis korelasi r Product Moment dengan nilai koefisien 𝑟 𝑥𝑦 = 0,624 dan koefisien determinan (𝑟 2) = 0,389 dengan p=0,000. Ini menunjukkan bahwa body image berdistribusi sebesar 38,9% terhadap kepercayaan diri. Selanjutnya dilihat dari perhitungan mean hipotetik = 57,5 dan mean empirik = 49,17 serta standar deviasi 6,722 diketahui bahwa body image dalam kategori rendah. Begitu pun dengan kepercayaan diri dengan perhitungan mean hipotetik = 65 dan mean empiric = 55,40 dengan standar deviasi = 8,483 bahwa kepercayaan diri dalam kategori rendah. Dengan demikian hipotesis diterima. This research aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-confidence of young women at MAN 2 Model Medan. The approach to this research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were young women/students at MAN 2 Model with a research sample of 68 female students. The data collection method for this research uses purposive sampling. Data analysis method with r Product Moment. This research uses a body image scale and a self-confidence scale. Data collection uses a Likert scale for body image and self-confidence. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between body image and self-confidence in young women at MAN 2 Model Medan. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, the calculation of the r Product Moment correlation analysis with the coefficient value r_xy = 0.624 and the determinant coefficient (r^2) = 0.389 with p = 0.000. This shows that body image has a distribution of 38.9% on self-confidence. Furthermore, looking at the calculation of the hypothetical mean = 57.5 and the empirical mean = 49.17 and the standard deviation of 6.722, it is known that body image is in the low category. Likewise with self-confidence, with a hypothetical mean = 65 and an empirical mean = 55.40 with a standard deviation = 8.483, self-confidence is in the low category. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.
