dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan motivasi kerja karyawan PT. AIA Finance Agency. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 95 orang karyawan. Tekhnik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling sebanyak 58 karyawan.Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dalam penelitian diukur berdasarkanlima aspek yaitu :Atributed Charisma, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intelectual Stimulation, dan Individualized Consideration.Motivasi kerja dalam penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan ciri- ciri menurut Arep & Tanjung (2013), ciri-ciri orang yang bekerja dengan termotivasi adalah:Bekerja sesuai standar, Senang dalam bekerja, Merasa berharga, Bekerja keras, Sedikit pengawasan.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara Gaya kepemimpinan transformational dengan Motivasi kerja. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,382, dengan Signifikan p= 0,002 < 0,05. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0,146. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Gaya kepemimpinan transformational berdistribusi sebesar 14.60% terhadap Motivasi kerja. This study aims to determine the correlation between transformational leadership style and work motivation of PT. AIA Finance Agencies. The population in this study were 95 employees. The sample technique used was purposive sampling of 58 employees. Transformational leadership style in research is measured based on five aspects, namely: Attributed Charisma, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized Consideration. Work motivation in this study is structured based on characteristics according to Arep & Tanjung (2013), the characteristics of people who work with motivation are: Working according to standards, Enjoying work, Feeling valuable, Working hard, Little supervision. Based on the calculation results of product moment correlation analysis, it can be seen that there is a positive relation between transformational leadership style and work motivation. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.382, with a significant p = 0.002 <0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relation between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.146. This shows that the transformational leadership style has a distribution of 14.60% on work motivation.en_US
