Abstract: Mesin internal Mixer merupakan salah satu mesin pencampur Biji polimer dangan karbon aktif, Mesin pencampur ini didesain berbentuk horizontal. Mesin mixer ini memiliki prinsip kerjanya adalah mengaduk untuk mencampur material Biji Plastik (Polypropiline) dan Karbon aktif (Tempurung kelapa) sehingga mencapai pencampuran yang homogen, kerja mesin berupa putaran motor yang di transmisikan ke gearbox yang kemudian menggerakan rotor/mata pisau dengan dua arah putaran yang berlawanan. Adapun komponen-komponen pada mesin ini yaitu : Besi siku, aqrilik, thermostart, barrel, endplate, penutup, hooper, mata pisau, gearbox, gear pengubah arah, heater, pully, v- belt, dan motor listrik. Kemudian semua komponen dirakit dan disatukan menjadi mesin internal mixer, dengan menggunakan 2 metode penyambungan yaitu : Sambungan tetap (Mesin Las) dan sambungan tidak tetap ( Mur dan Baut) Dari keterangan diatas maka hasil pengolahan dari Mesin Internal Mixer Skala Laboratorium Yaitu : 50 Gram hasil pengolahan, diamana 25 gram Biji Plastik dan 25 gram Karbon Aktif. The internal mixer machine is a mixing machine for polymer seeds with activated carbon. This mixing machine is designed to be horizontal.This mixer machine has the working principle of stirring to mix the Plastic Seed material (Polypropiline) with Activated Carbon (Coconut shell) so as to achieve homogeneous mixing, the work of the machine is in the form of a motor rotation which is transmitted to the gearbox which then moves the rotor/blade with two directions of rotationthe opposite. The components of this machine are: angle iron, acrylic, thermostart, barrel, endplate, cover, hooper, blade, gearbox, direction changer gear, heater, pulley, v-belt, and electric motor.Then all the components are assembled and put together into an internal mixer machine, using 2 methods of connection, namely: Fixed connection (Welding Machine) and non-fixed connection (Nuts and Bolts) From the description above, the processing results from the Laboratory Scale Internal Mixer Machine are: 50 grams of processing results, including 25 grams of plastic pellets and 25 grams of activated carbon.
