Examination of urine protein and urine glucose during pregnancy is carried out to determine kidney function during pregnancy and identify the presence of preeclampsia, both mild and severe, which can lead to eclampsia in pregnant women. Gestational diabetes mellitus during pregnancy occurs due to changes in glucose metabolism. The purpose of this research was to determine urine protein and urine glucose levels in pregnant women and identify the characteristics of pregnant women based on gestational age and trimester of pregnancy. The method used was descriptive qualitative with a sample size of 30 pregnant women. Based on the results of urine protein examination in pregnant women, it was concluded that the examination results were negative for 25 people (83.3%), positive 1 (+) for 4 people (10.3%) and positive 2 (++) for 1 person (3, 3%). The results of the urine glucose examination were negative for 29 people (96.7%) and positive for 1 person (3.3%). For this reason, pregnant women are expected to check urine protein and glucose levels to find out the development of the fetus and avoid the risk of pregnancy.
