Abstract

Obat anti nyamuk tersebut diproduksi oleh perusahaan PT PERKASA MOSTJNDO UTAMA MEDAN dan dipasarkan ke konsumen/masyarakat. Bahan baku merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam proses produksi. Tanpa adanya bahan baku proses produksi tidak akan berjalan. Suatu perusahaan sebelum melaksanakan proses produksi perlu melakukan kebijakan pembelian bahan baku yang dilaksanakan oleh bagain pembelian berdasarkan kebutuhan produksi. Oleh karena itu bagian pembelian haruslah membeli dengan teliti setiap bahan baku dan memilih supplier yang tepat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan perusahaan. Kuantitas pembelian yang diadakan hendaknya sesuai dengan faktor-faktor yang rubutuhkn perusahaan secara optimum, misalnya rencana kebutuhan produksi, harga bahan baku dan ketepatan waktu sampai ketangan perilsahaan. Para peketja didalam Just In Time System dibebani dengan tangguilg jawab untuk menghasilkan suku cadang bermutu tepat pada waktunya guna mendukung proses produksi berikutnya. Akan tetapi tujuan JIT System bukanlah peran pekerja, sebaliknya memperbaiki laba dan hasil atas investasi · melalui pengurangan biaya, penurunan persediaan bahan baku dan perbaikan mutu. Sarana untuk mencapai tujuan ini adalah menghilangkan pemborosan dan melibatkan para pekerja di dalam proses produksi.
