One of the geotechnical problems is the reduction and bearing capacity of the soil which is the foundation of the toll road. Each toll road is planned in such a way that it has a certain load and a certain elevation which sometimes cannot be served by existing land consolidation due to the soft characteristics of the soil. Soil improvement by replacing soil material and preloading is one of the popular methods used to increase the shear strength of soft soil. This analysis aims to analyze and compare the amount of consolidation settlement analytically using Plaxis 2D modeling using very fine mesh type with settlement plate data in the field, analyzing and comparing the magnitude of consolidation settlement using Plaxis 2D modeling with very fine mesh type with settlement plate data. is in the field. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the consolidation time for modeling on Plaxis 2D was 149 days, while the reduction time from the settlement plate data results was 39 days and the amount of consolidation reduction using Plaxis 2D modeling using the very fine type = 0.056 m, while the reduction amount from the settlement plate data results was 0.416 m with the percentage comparison is 86.53%. It can be concluded that the differences between the results of field data and the results of analysis on Plaxis 2D are quite large because the data obtained is not all available for each soil layer. |
