dc.description.abstract | Variasi adalah masalah utama dalam proses kontrol kualitas dalam produksi. Semua upaya di setiap unit proses diarahkan untuk menclapatkan basil yang terkontrol dengan cara menekan variasi dalam batas yang diizinkan. Mendeteksi akar penyebab variasi dan menghilangkannya akan meningkatkan kemampuan proses dan mempengaruhi kinerja pot. V ariasi ketinggian metal adalah akar penyebab variasi parameter pot yang berpengaruh terhadap variasi parameter pot lainnya seperti temperatur bath (elektrolit), keasaman bath (elektrolit), kedalaman bath (elektrolit) dan lain-lain. Dengan menggunakan metode six sigma kita akan peroleh fakta dan bukti secara ilmiah dan sistematis. Dalam metode six sigma terdapat lima langkah yang harus dilakukan untuk dapat menentukan proses dimana terdapat variasi yang paling besar yaitu: Define, Maeasurement, Analyze, Improvement, Control. Dari basil metode six sigma diperoleh perbaikan pengambilan metal aluminium dengan cara mengatur ketinggian anoda di dalam pot hidup sebagai salah satu cara meminimalkan variasi ketinggian metal. Kemudian dengan meminimalisasi variasi ketinggian metal dapat juga mengurangi variasi keasaman bath sehingga CE (Current Efficiency) dapat ditingkatkan, kemudian kesempatan untuk meningkatkan perbaikan pemasukan AIF3. Dengan cara ini kesempatan untuk meningkatkan CE juga dapat dilakukan apabila keasaman bath meningkat. Lebih terkontrol dan mengurangi variasi parameter pot adalah salah satu kunci untuk mengoperasikan pot dengan ampere yang tinggi. Variance are the main issues for quality control process in production. All efforts in each process unit were directed to get controllable throughput through squeezing variances within the band limit. Detecting root cause of variances and eliminate it will increase process capability and qffecting the pot performance. Variation of metal depth is root cause of pot parameter variations that influence to another pot parameters variations such as bath temperature, bath acidity, bath depth and etc. By using !he si" sigma me/hod we will gel !he facJs and evidence scienJifically and systematically. In Six Sigma method there are fcve steps that must be performed in order to determine the process are: I. Define 2.Afaeasurement 3.Analyze 4. Improvement 5.Control From the results obtained by the method of six sigma improvement making aluminum metal by means of adjusting the height of the anode in the pol as a w~ to minimize tbe variation of metal height. Then by minimizing the height variation of metal can also reduce the acidity of the bath so that the variation of the CE (current Efficiency) can be improved Then by minimizing the height variation of metal can also reduce the acidity of the bath so that the variation of the CE (current Efficiency) can be improved, then the opportunity to increase revenue improvement AlF3. In this way the opportunity to improve the CE can also be done if the acidity of the bath increases.
