Abstract: Pelebaran Sungai Lau Dendang yang dimulai dari bagian Sungai Percut, sampai kcdacrah Sungui Dcnai adnlah rncrupakan kcrjasuma dari Pcmko Medan dan Pernkab Deli Serdang yang ditenggarai oleh bagian Dinas Pengairan wilayah I. Kerjasama ini sudah lama dimulai tetapi karena keterbatasan biaya dan krisis ekonomi yang berkepanjangan hingga baru saat inilah proyek ini mulai dilaksanakan. Pelaksanaan proyek ini dikarenakan adanya masalah banjir yang terjadi pada tahun 2002 yang sangat besar yang merugikan masyrakat dan bahkan juga merugikan negara. Adanya proyek inilah yang akhimya memberikan manfaat bagi penulis untuk melaksanakan pengembangan penggunaan alat berat power shovel dan dump truck dengan te01i antrian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kepada pihak perusahaan agar dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan alat berat terutama alat berat power shovel dan menekankan . biaya agar nantinya pihak perusahaan tidak mengalami kerugian. Gabungan kerja antara power shovel dengan dump truck sangat berperan aktif pada laporan ini. Dengan penelitian ini maka masalah yang dialami perusahaan dapat teratasi, yaitu dengan menambah power shovel menjadi empat unit (s=4), maka dapat menekan biaya sebesar Rp.795.968 dari sebelumnya tiga unit power shovel (s=3) dengan biaya Rp.1.386.522. Sehingga perusahaan tidak mengalami kemerosotan peningkatan ketja yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian. Widening of the Lau Dendang River starting from the Percut River, until the Sungui Dcnai district was a part of the Medan City Council and the Deli Serdang Pernkab which is suspected by the regional Irrigation Department I. This collaboration started a long time ago but due to budget constraints and the crisis prolonged economic growth until now this project began held. The implementation of this project was due to flooding problems occurred in 2002 which was very large and detrimental to society and even also detrimental to the country. The existence of this project ultimately provides benefits for the writer carry out development of the use of power shovel and dump heavy equipment truck with queue line. The results of this research show the parties companies to be able to optimize the use of heavy equipment, especially heavy equipment power shovel and stress . costs so that later the company does not loss. Combined work between a power shovel and a dump truck very active role in this report. With this research, the problems experienced by the company can be solved resolved, namely by increasing the power shovel to four units (s=4), then can reduce costs by IDR 795,968 from the previous three power shovel units (s=3) at a cost of IDR 1,386,522. So the company does not experience a decline in increased performance that can cause losses.
