Analisa Network Planning pada Pembangunan BTS Halat PT. Satelindo Medan

Abstract

PT. Satelindo (Satelit Palapa Indonesia) adalah perusahaan Penanaman Modal Asing, yang bergerak di bidang jasa telekomunikasi antara lain Telepon Selular (GSM) Satelindo, Sambungan Langsung Intemasional (008) dan Pengoperasian Satelit Palapa Cl dan C2. Pada Tugas Akhir ini penulis mengkhususkan penelitian di bidang jasa telekomunikasi telepon selular (GSM) Satelindo khususnya pada pembangunan BTS Halat PT. Satelindo yang berkantor cabang di Wisma BII Lt. 10 Jalan Diponegoro No. 18 Medan. Secara operasional, jasa GSM ini menggunakan perangkat BTS yang fungsinya adalah sebagai pemancar dan penerima GSM Satelindo yang dilengkapi dengan perangkat pendukung antara lain Power Supply, Microwave, AC, Battery, Sistem Alarm, dll, yang keseluruhannya terletak di dalam suatu radio room dan antena, kabel instalasi terletak di luar gedung radio room atau pada tower. BTS dengan bermacam perangkat pendukungnya dalain prakteknya harus terletak dan dibangun secara terintegrasi , tepat guna dan tepat waktu. PT. Satelindo (Palapa Indonesia Satellite) is a foreign investment company, which operates in the field of telecommunications services including Satelindo Cellular Telephone (GSM), International Direct Dialing (008) and Palapa Cl and C2 Satellite Operations. In this final assignment the author specializes in research in the field of Satelindo cellular telephone telecommunications (GSM) services, especially in the construction of BTS Halat PT. Satelindo, which has a branch office at Wisma BII Fl. 10 Jalan Diponegoro no. 18 Medan. Operationally, this GSM service uses BTS devices whose function is as a Satelindo GSM transmitter and receiver which is equipped with supporting devices including Power Supply, Microwave, AC, Battery, Alarm System, etc., all of which are located in a radio room and antenna, Installation cables are located outside the radio room building or on the tower. In practice, BTS and its various supporting devices must be located and built in an integrated, effective and timely manner.
