Abstract: Pembangunan jalan di Indonesia khususnya Sumatera Utara merupakan daerah yang berupaya meningkatkan pembangunan di segala aspek kehidupan, salah satunya adalah fasilitas distribusi berupa jalan raya. Peneliti menetapkan jalan Martoba 1 sebagai objek penelitian nya karena menurut peneliti objek tersebut cukup mehempuni dalam judul peneliti yang bersangkutan dengan tipe perkerasan kaku. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus pada proyek jalan Martoba 1 yang akan dibedakan menjadi beberapa bagian yaitu analisa data terdiri dari data lalu-lintas, data CBR subgrade, dan data karekteristikdesai rigid pavement, analisis subgrade dan base, analisis desain rigid pavement dengan metode empirik, analisis evaluasi dan pemodelan rigid pavement. Tebal pelat beton menggunakan Metode AASHTO (1993) didapat 30 cm dilengkapi dengan tiebar diameter 13 mm, jarak antar tiebar 75 cm, panjang tiebar 65 cm, dan dowel diameter 32 mm (polos), jarak antar dowel 30 cm, panjang dowel 45 cm untuk tipe perkerasan. BBTT/JPCP, sedangkan tipe perkerasan BBDT/JRCP maka ditambahkan tulangan melintang dan memanjang diameter 12 mm dengan jarak tulangan 35 cm. Road construction in Indonesia, especially North Sumatra, is an area that seeks to increase development in all aspects of life, one of which is distribution facilities in the form of roads. The researcher determined the Martoba 1 road as the object of his research because according to the researcher, this object was quite suitable for the researchers concerned with the type of rigid pavement. The results of the analysis in this research are case studies on the Martoba 1 road project which will be divided into several parts, namely data analysis consisting of traffic data, subgrade CBR data, and rigid pavement design characteristics data, subgrade and base analysis, rigid pavement design analysis using the method empirical, evaluation analysis and modeling of rigid pavement. The thickness of the concrete slab using the AASHTO Method (1993) was found to be 30 cm, equipped with tiebar diameter 13 mm, distance between tiebars 75 cm, tiebar length 65 cm, and dowel diameter 32 mm (plain), distance between dowels 30 cm, dowel length 45 cm for pavement type. BBTT/JPCP, while for the BBDT/JRCP pavement type, transverse and longitudinal reinforcement with a diameter of 12 mm is added with a reinforcement spacing of 35 cm.
