Abstract: CV. Sempakata Paving Block merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di industri pembuatan material bangunan seperti Genteng, Batako, dan Paving Block. CV. Sempakata Paving Block memiliki mesin-mesin khusus dalam proses produksi material-material tersebut. Tipe produksi pada perusahaan ini adalah Make to Order (MTO) dan Make to Stock (MTS). Tetapi CV. Sempakata Paving Block lebih menekankan pada tipe Make to Stock (MTS), hal ini bertujuan agar CV. Sempakata Paving Block tidak kehilangan pelanggan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan awal yang dilakukan diamati bahwa jarak material handling yang berjauhan mengakibatkan terjadinya besarnya waktu delay pada proses produksi. Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah dengan memperkecil jarak departemen satu dengan yang lainnya untuk mengurangi (meminimalisi) waktu delay. Dengan cara perancangan ulang tata letak fasilitas dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Prosedur SLP terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap analisis, tahap penyesuaian dan tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) alternatif 2 terpilih menjadi layout usulan dengan hasil jarak antar departemen lebih kecil atau lebih pendek, jarak layout aktual memiliki total jarak 56 m, sedangkan layout usulan memiliki total jarak 22,78 m, selisih antara layout aktual dengan layout usulan = selisih 33,22 m. Kemudian perbandingan total waktu pada jarak antar departemen layout aktual 533,00 detik (8,89,00) sedangkan pada usulan 236,28 detik (3,94,00) , maka selisihnya = 296,72 detik atau sama dengan (4,95.00) dan meningkatnya output aktual 2.148 pcs paving block/hari sedangkan usulan 2.787 pcs paving block/hari, maka selisihnya = 639 pcs paving block/hari. CV. Sempakata Paving Block is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry of building materials such as roof tiles, bricks and paving blocks. CV. Sempakata Paving Block has special machines in the production process of these materials. The types of production at this company are Make to Order (MTO) and Make to Stock (MTS). But CV. According to Paving Block, more emphasis is placed on the Make to Stock (MTS) type, it is intended that CV. The Paving Block agreement did not lose any customers. Based on the initial observations made, it was observed that the distance of material handling which is far apart results in a large delay time in the production process. One solution to this problem is to reduce the distance between departments to reduce (minimize) delay time. By redesigning the layout of the facility using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method. The SLP procedure consists of three stages, namely the analysis stage, the adjustment stage and the evaluation stage. Based on the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method, alternative 2 is chosen to be a tourist layout with the result that the distance between departments is smaller or shorter, the actual layout distance has a total distance of 56 m, while the tourist layout has a total distance of 22.78 m, the difference between the actual layout and bidding layout = 33.22 m difference. Then the comparison of the total time at the distance between the actual layout departments is 533.00 seconds (8.89.00) while on tours it is 236.28 seconds (3.94.00), then the difference = 296.72 seconds or equal to (4.95.00 ) and the actual output increased by 2,148 pcs paving blocks/day while the suggestion was 2,787 pcs paving blocks/day, so the difference = 639 pcs paving blocks/day.
