Abstract: | Beton sangat mempengaruhi peningkatan pembangunan di suatu Negara yang juga mempengaruhi tingkat kemajuan di Negara tersebut.sehingga produsen berlombalomba untuk menciptakan teknologi kontruksi baru. Oleh karena itu Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu merencanakan beton bermutu K-200 dengan memanfaatkan limbah karbit sebagai subtitusi semen dan membandingkan nya terhadap beton normal pada umur 7 dan 28 hari , dan untuk mengetahui apa pengaruh limbah karbit sebagai subtitusi semen terhadap kuat tekan beton. Penelitian ini dilakksanakan dengan cara menggantikan semen dengan Limbah karbir pada persentase tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan cetakan benda ui silinder berukuran 15 cm x 30 cm. pengujian kuat tekan beton dilaksanakan pada saat beton telah mencapai umur yang di tentukan yaitu di umur 7 dan 28 hari. Pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu penguj ian kuat tekan beton dengan menggunakan alat kuat tekan beton Compression Testing Machine di Jaboratoriun Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas Medan. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapat nilai kuat tekan beton maksimal dengan subtitusi limbah karbit pada persentase 4 %. Lebih dari 4% persentase limbah karbit, beton mengalami penurunan nilai kuat tekan beton.hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena Ii mah karbit dapat menyebabkan rongga yang terlalu bayak, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kekuatan beton. Concrete greatly influences the increase in development in a country which also influences the level of progress in that country. So producers are competing to create new construction technology. Therefore, the aim of this research is to plan K-200 quality concrete by utilizing carbide waste as a cement substitute and compare it with normal concrete at 7 and 28 days, and to find out what effect carbide waste as a cement substitute has on the compressive strength of concrete. This research was carried out by replacing cement with carburet waste at a certain percentage. This research uses a mold of a cylindrical UT object measuring 15 cm x 30 cm. Concrete compressive strength testing is carried out when the concrete has reached the specified age, namely 7 and 28 days. The test carried out was testing the compressive strength of concrete using the Compression Testing Machine concrete compressive strength tool in the laboratory of the Santo Thomas Catholic University, Medan. From the results of this research, the maximum compressive strength value of concrete was obtained with the substitution of carbide waste at a percentage of 4%. More than 4% of the percentage of carbide waste, concrete experiences a decrease in the compressive strength value of the concrete. This can happen because carbide waste can cause too many voids, which can affect the strength of the concrete. |
