Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a type of corona virus and is spreading rapidly to various countries. This became an international emergency so that WHO declared Covid-19 a pandemic on March 11 2020. Covid-19 began to enter Indonesia on March 2 2020 and spread quickly to other cities. For this reason, the government is implementing large-scale social restrictions. This restriction has an impact on all sectors, especially the education sector, one of which is Medan Area University. To avoid crowds, face-to-face learning was eliminated and carried out online. The implementation of online lectures has an impact on the mental load of Medan Area University students because activities tend to be monotonous and lectures feel more intense than usual. This research aims to determine the mental workload of students, especially the Faculty of Engineering, Medan Area University, which consists of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Information Engineering. The method used is NASA-TLX by distributing mental workload questionnaires made using Google Form. The results of data processing show that the highest mental workload value is 100, namely for respondents 7 students of Informatics Engineering in Stambuk 2018 and respondents 47 students of Industrial Engineering in Stambuk 2019. |
