Abstract: Agar perusahaan tetap eksis maka harus mampu menghadapi tantangan dalam menghadapi suatu perubahan serta mampu memenangkan persaingan. Sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan seperti modal, metode dan mesin tidak bisa memberikan hasil yang optimum apabila tidak didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai kinerja yang optimum. Untuk dapat menarik perhatian karyawan dan member informasi atau mengingatkan mereka akan pentingnya sesuatu yang diberi reward dibanding dengan yang lain, reward juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi karyawan terhadap ukuran kinerja, sehingga membantu karyawan bagaimana mereka mengalokasikan waktu dan usaha mereka. Reward berbasis kinerja mendorong karyawan mengubah kecenderungan dari semangat untuk memenuhi kepentingan diri sendiri kesemangat untuk memenuhi tujuan organisasi. In order for a company to continue to exist, it must be able to face challenges in facing change and be able to win the competition. The resources owned by the company such as capital, methods and machines cannot provide optimum results if they are not supported by human resources who have optimum performance. To be able to attract employees' attention and provide information or remind them of the importance of the thing being rewarded compared to others, rewards can also increase employee motivation towards performance measures, thus helping employees how they allocate their time and effort. Performance-based rewards encourage employees to change their tendencies from enthusiasm for fulfilling their own interests to enthusiasm for meeting organizational goals.
