Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan social comparison dengan body dissatisfaction pada remaja perempuan SMAN 1 Tanjung Pura. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 133 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik total sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala social comparison dan skala body dissatisfaction. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan Teknik Korelasi Product Moment Koefesian Determinan diketahui sebesar 0,318 dengan p = 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya, terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara social comparison dengan body dissatisfaction pada remaja SMAN 1 Tanjung Pura, menunjukkan semakin tinggi social comparison siswa maka semakin tinggi body dissatisfaction yang dilakukan sehingga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa social comparison remaja perempuan tergolong tinngi dengan mean hipotetik (90) < mean empirik (99,46) selisihnya melebihi satu SD (8,085), kemudian, body dissatisfaction tergolong tinggi dengan mean hipotetik (85) < mean empirik (93,79) selisihnya melebihi satu SD (7,506). This research aims to see the relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction in female teenagers at SMAN 1 Tanjung Pura. The sample in this research was class X students, totaling 133 people. The sampling technique used was a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a social comparison scale and a body dissatisfaction scale. The results of research using the Product Moment Correlation Technique, the Determinant Coefficient is known to be 0.318 with p = 0.000 < 0.05. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction in teenagers at SMAN 1 Tanjung Pura, indicating that the higher the student's social comparison, the higher the body dissatisfaction carried out so that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it is known that the social comparison of adolescent girls is classified as high with a hypothetical mean (90) < empirical mean (99.46), the difference exceeds one SD (8.085), then, body dissatisfaction is classified as high with a hypothetical mean (85) < The empirical mean (93.79) has a difference of more than one SD (7.506).
