Analisis Pengukuran Produktivitas pada Bagian Produksi Menggunakan Metode Marvin E. Mundel di UMKM Rumah Briket Rena

Abstract

UMKM Rumah Briket Rena merupakan industri yang bergerak dalam pembuatan briket menggunakan bahan baku tempurung kelapa dan kayu. Perusahaan memiliki target produksi 3000 kg perbulan, akan tetapi jumlah produksi masih jauh dibawah target produksi, dimana data yang dihasilkan berfluktuasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penulis melakukan analisis pengukuran produktivitas pada bagian produksi menggunakan metode Marvin E.Mundel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas pada perusahaan berdasarkan pada pemanfaatan sumber daya (material, tenaga kerja, energi, dan maintenance). Pada penelitian ini digunakan bulan Januari 2023 sebagai periode dasar. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran indeks produktivitas selama periode pengukuran diperoleh hasil bahwa indeks produktivitas perusahaan mengalami fluktuasi setelah dibandingkan dengan periode dasar. Indeks produktivitas material terendah pada bulan April yaitu sebesar 95,84%, dan indeks produktivitas material tertinggi pada bulan Agustus yaitu sebesar 109,57%. Indeks produktivitas tenaga kerja terendah pada bulan Desember yaitu sebesar 85,34%, dan indeks produktivitas tenaga kerja tertinggi pada bulan April yaitu sebesar 111,50%. Indeks produktivitas energi terendah pada bulan Mei yaitu sebesar 87,64%, dan indeks produktivitas tenaga kerja tertinggi pada bulan November yaitu sebesar 115,26%. Indeks produktivitas maintenance terendah pada bulan April yaitu sebesar 19,37%, dan indeks produktivitas tenaga kerja tertinggi pada bulan Agustus yaitu sebesar 313,69%. Sedangkan indeks produktivitas total terendah pada bulan April yaitu sebesar 79,55%, dan indeks produktivitas tertinggi adalah bulan November yaitu sebesar 115,68%. Penurunan produktivitas perusahaan diakibatkan karena rendahnya kualitas bahan baku, kinerja karyawan, penggunaan energi yang tinggi, dan biaya maintenance yang tinggi sedangkan output produksi menurun. Rena Briquette House UMKM is an industry that is engaged in making briquettes using coconut shell and wood as raw materials. The company has a production target of 3000 kg per month, however the production amount is still far below the production target, where the resulting data fluctuates. Based on these problems, the author carried out an analysis of productivity measurements in the production section using the Marvin E. Mundel method. This research aims to determine the level of productivity in companies based on resource utilization (material, labor, energy and maintenance). In this study, January 2023 was used as the base period. Based on the results of measuring the productivity index during the measurement period, it was found that the company's productivity index experienced fluctuations after being compared with the base period. The lowest material productivity index was in April, namely 95.84%, and the highest material productivity index was in August, namely 109.57%. The lowest labor productivity index was in December, namely 85.34%, and the highest labor productivity index was in April, namely 111.50%. The lowest energy productivity index was in May, namely 87.64%, and the highest labor productivity index was in November, namely 115.26%. The lowest maintenance productivity index was in April, namely 19.37%, and the highest labor productivity index was in August, namely 313.69%. Meanwhile, the lowest total productivity index was in April, namely 79.55%, and the highest productivity index was in November, namely 115.68%. The decline in company productivity was caused by low quality raw materials, employee performance, high energy use, and high maintenance costs while production output decreased.
