dc.description.abstract | Grounding adalah sarana perlindungan listrik terhadap gangguan eksternal atau internal. Salah satu gangguannya adalah petir, resisitansi pentanahan yang tinggi pada kaki menara dapat menyebabkan isolator terangakat, yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada peralatan listrik. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan upaya untuk membuat sistem pentanahan pada dasar menara transmisi dengan nilai pentanahan serendah mungkin atau kurang dari 10 ohm. Hasil nilai tahanan pada GI-Sibolga sebesar 6,2 ohm serta jenis tanah nya tanah pasir basah, tujuan nya adalah untuk mengetahui berapa nilai pentanahannya dan jenis tanahnya, serta manfaat dilakukan penelitian ini untuk memastikan apakah benar nilai pentanahannya sesuai dengan syarat yang sudah ditetapkan.
