Etnobotani Tumbuhan Obat di Desa Bandar Setia Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan

Abstract

Tumbuhan obat didefenisikan sebagai jenis tumbuhaan yang sebagian atau seluruh bagian tumbuhan digunakan sebagai obat yang dipercaya dapat menyembuhkan suatu penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai obat dan pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat Desa Bandar Setia Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan pemilihan informan dengan cara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 46 jenis dari 25 famili tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai obat. Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan adalah daun (39,1%), buah (26%), rimpang (15,2%), akar (6,3%%), umbi (4,3%), biji (4,3%), dan bunga (4,3%). Sumber perolehan tumbuhan paling banyak adalah pekarangan (43%). Cara pengolahan paling banyak adalah direbus (28,26%). Pemanfaatan tumbuhan untuk pengobatan penyakit ringan (58,7%), penyakit sedang (27%) dan penyakit berat (13%) Medical plants are defined as types of plants where some or all parts of the plants are used as medicine which is believed to cure a disease. This study aims to determine the types of plants that have the potential as medicine and their use by the people of Bandar Setia Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative research. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that there are 46 plant species that have the potential as medicine in Bandar Setia Village which are grouped into 25 families. Parts of plants that are used include leaves 39,1%, fruit 26%, rhizome 15,2%, roots 6,3%, flowers 4,3%, seeds 4,3% and tubers 4,3%. Obtaining plants that have the potential to be used as medicine in Bandar Setia Village by wild 43%. Plant processing method by boiling 28,26%. Use of plants for the treatment of mild (58,7%), moderate (27%) and severe diseases (13%)
