dc.description.abstract | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua dengan regulasi diri siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 457 siswa dengan sampel 230 siswa. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua dengan regulasi diri. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh koefisien F reg = 111.949 dengan p < 0.05, dan koefisien korelasi R = 0.705 dengan p < 0.05, artinya ada hubungan positif kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua dengan regulasi diri, semakin positif kepercayaan diri dan dukungan orang tua maka semakin tinggi regulasi diri siswa SMP IT Ad Durrah. Begitu juga dengan nilai koefisien diterminan (R2) yang memiliki nilai 0,497, artinya adalah bahwa kepercayaan diri siswa dan dukungan orang tua siswa tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 49,7% terhadap regulasi diri siswa SMP IT Ad Durrah. Rendahnya regulasi diri pada siswa disebabkan oleh kurangnya dukungan dari orang tua yang menyebabkan siswa menjadi tidak percaya diri, bolos sekolah, jarang datang ke sekolah, tertekan, tidak menyelesaikan tugas, disiplin, rajin sampai yang berprestasi bahkan ada siswa tidak terlalu peduli dengan sekolahnya dan lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk aktivitas-aktivitas yang menghibur diri seperti bermain bersama teman, siswa belum bisa memanajemen waktu dengan baik, masih mau ikut-ikutan teman dalam mengambil keputusan dan kurangnya percayadiri pada siswa. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self-confidence and parental support with students' self-regulation. The method used in this research is a correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were 457 students with a sample of 230 students. The sample technique used is purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis technique. Based on the results of the study there is a correlation between self-confidence and parental support with self-regulation. This is shown by the coefficient F reg = 111,949 with p < 0.05, and the correlation coefficient R = 0.705 with p < 0.05, meaning that there is a positive correlation between parental confidence and support and self-regulation, the more positive the self-confidence and parental support, the higher self-regulation of SMP IT Ad Durrah students. Likewise with the value of the determinant coefficient (R2) which has a value of 0.497, which means that student self-confidence and the support of the student's parents contribute 49.7% to the self-regulation of SMP IT Ad Durrah students. Low self-regulation in students is caused by a lack of support from parents which causes students to become insecure, skipping school, rarely coming to school, depressed, not completing assignments, disciplined, diligent to achievers and even some students don't really care about their school and more. Spending a lot of time on self-entertaining activities such as playing with friends, students have not been able to manage time properly, still want to join friends in making decisions and lack of confidence in students. | en_US |
