Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui estimasi perkembangan emisi gas rumah kaca dari tanaman padi untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi emisi gas rumah kaca dan mengetahui nilai Produk Domestik Regional Bruto per kapita ketika mencapai titik balik berdasarkan postulat Environmental Kuznets Curve. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis metode inventarisasi emisi gas rumah kaca dari sektor pertanian didasarkan pada pedoman inventarisasi yang diterbitkan oleh IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) dengan cara deskriptif analitis dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan dilakukan pada tanaman padi di Pulau Sumatera. Indikator yang diteliti emisi (CO2), (CH4), jumlah penduduk, curah hujan, produk domestik regional bruto tanaman pangan, produksi padi, produk domestik regional per kapita. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa emisi CO2 dan CH4 pada tanaman padi setiap tahunnya mengalami fluktuasi yang bervariasi setiap tahunnya. Variabel jumlah penduduk tidak berpengaruh terhadap emisi CO2 dan variabel curah hujan, produk domestik regional bruto tanaman pangan dan produksi padi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap emisi CO2 . Pendekatan analisis Environmental Kuznets Curve hubungan antara emisi gas rumah kaca dengan PDRB Per Kapita berbentuk U terbalik searah dengan hipotesis EKC dimana menghasilkan nilai titik balik ketika PDRB Per Kapita sebesar Rp.46.410.877,858. Maka pada tingkat PDRB per kapita tersebut emisi gas rumah kaca yang dikelurkan akan semakin kecil karena sebagian pendapatan dikompensasikan untuk perbaikan lingkungan. This research aims to determine the estimated development of greenhouse gas emissions from rice plants to see the factors that influence greenhouse gas emissions and determine the value of Gross Regional Domestic Product per capita when it reaches the turning point based on the Environmental Kuznets Curve postulate. This research uses an analysis method for inventorying greenhouse gas emissions from the agricultural sector based on inventory guidelines published by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) in a descriptive analytical manner using secondary data and carried out on rice plants on the island of Sumatra. The indicators studied are emissions (CO2), (CH4), population, rainfall, gross regional domestic product of food crops, rice production, regional domestic product per capita. The results of this research show that CO2 and CH4 emissions in rice plants fluctuate every year. The population variable has no effect on CO2 emissions and the rainfall variables, gross regional domestic product of food crops and rice production together have an effect on CO2 emissions. The Environmental Kuznets Curve analysis approach to the relationship between greenhouse gas emissions and GRDP per Capita is in the shape of an inverted U in the same direction as the EKC hypothesis which produces a turning point value when GRDP Per Capita is IDR 46,410,877,858. So at this level of GRDP per capita the greenhouse gas emissions released will be smaller because part of the income is compensated for environmental improvements. |
