dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir dengan kematangan karir pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi psikologi Universitas Medan Area.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Kuantitatif. Sampel yang di ambil dari penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan dari populasi yang berjumlah 264 orang Skala kematangan karir disusun menggunakan aspek menurut super (1990) yaitu : perencancan karir (career planning), eksplorasi karir (career exploration), pengetahuan tentang membuat keputusan karir (decision making), informasi tentang dunia kerja (world of work information), pengetahuan mengenai pekerjaan yang diminati (knowledge of the preferred occupational group) Skala self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karirdisusun menggunakan aspek menurut Taylor & Betz yaitu : penilaian diri, informasi pekerjaan, pemilihan tujuan, perencanaan, penyelesaian masalah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode r Product Moment, diketahui bahwa terdapat ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir dengan kematangan karir, hasil ini dapat dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi dimana r xy = 0,711 dengan nilai signifikansi p< 0,05 (p=0,00). Artinya semakin tinggi self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir maka semakin baik dalam melakukan pengambilan keputusan karir. Koefisien determinan (r 2 ) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r 2= 0,505. Artinya self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir (CDSE) berdistribusi sebesar 50%. Dari hasil penelitian ini juga diketahui bahwa kematangan karir dan self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir tergolong rendah, hal ini dikarenakan pada mean hipotetik kematangan karir sebesar 95 dan mean hipotetik self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir sebesar 50. Mean empirik kematangan karir sebesar 81,03 dan mean empirik self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir sebesar 43,40 dengan nilai SD kematangan karir sebesar 9,196 dan nilai SD self efficacy pengambilan keputusan karir sebesar 5,355. This research aimed to examine the corrclation between career decision-making selfefficacy and cureer maturily omong finul-year students of the Psychology SrudyProgram at UniversityofMedan Area. The research employed a quantltailve approach. The sample included the entire population of264 students. The career maturityscale was constructed using the aspecis outlined bySuper (1990). which include: carcer planning, career erploration, decision-making knowledge, world ofwork information, and knowledge ofthe preferred occupailanal group. The career decision-making selfefficucy scale was developed based on the aspects described by Tayor & Bei=, which include: self appraisal, occupational information. goal selection, planning, and problem solving. Based on the analysis using the Product Moment correlation method, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation belween career decision-makinig self-efficacy and career maturity. This resulr was evidenced bya correlaiton coefficient ofrxy=0.711 with a significance value ofp - 0.05 (p - 0.00). This indicates that the higher the career decision-making self-efficacy, the betler the career decision-making process. The coefficient ofdeterminution (r2) for the correlation between the independent variuble Xandthe dependent variable Ywas r2 =- 0,505, meaning that career decision-making self-efficucy (CDSE) accounted for 50% of the distribution.The research ulso revealed that boih cureer maturityand career decision-making self-efficacy were relativelylow, as indicated hy ihe hypothetical mean ofcareer maturityat 95 and the hypothetical mean ofcareer decislon-making self-efficucy ar 50. The empirical mean ofcarcer mauuritywas 81,03, and the empirical mean ofcareer decision making self-efficacy was 43.40, with standard deviations (SD)) of 9.196 for career maturityand 5.355 for cureer decision-muking self-efficacy. | en_US |
