dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kesadaran diri dengan kedisiplinan pada siswa SMA Negeri 12 Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan yang positif antara kesadaran diri dengan kedisiplinan pada siswa SMAN 12 Medan, artinya semakin tinggi kesadaran diri maka semakin tinggi kedisiplinan. Sebaliknya semakin rendah kesadaran diri maka semakin rendah kedisiplinannya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 12 Medan yang berjumlah 60 orang siswa dengan populasi sebanyak 324 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Quota Sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kesadaran diri dan skala kedisiplinan yang diukur dengan menggunakan bentuk skala Likert dan skala rater. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Korelasi Product Moment. Dari hasil analisis, diperoleh (rxy = 0,552 ; p = 0,000 < 0,005). Pada penelitian ini kesadaran diri tergolong tinggi dengan mean empirik sebesar 90,12, dan kedisiplinan tergolong tingi dengan mean empirik sebesar 98,08. Konstribusi kesadaran diri terhadap kedisiplinan adalah 30,4% (𝑟2=0,304). This research aims to see the relationship between self-awareness and discipline in students at SMA Negeri 12 Medan. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between self-awareness and discipline in students at SMAN 12 Medan, meaning that the higher the self-awareness, the higher the discipline. On the other hand, the lower the self-awareness, the lower the discipline. The sample in this research was class XI students at SMAN 12 Medan, totaling 60 students with a population of 324 students. The sampling technique uses Quota Sampling. This research method uses quantitative methods. In this research, data collection used a self-awareness scale and a discipline scale which was measured using a Likert scale and rater scale. The data analysis technique uses the Product Moment Correlation technique. From the results of the analysis, it was obtained (rxy = 0.552; p = 0.000 < 0.005). In this study, self-awareness was classified as high with an empirical mean of 90.12, and discipline was classified as high with an empirical mean of 98.08. The contribution of self-awareness to discipline was 30.4% (𝑟2=0.304).en_US
