dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengenai hubungan intensitas penggunaan sosial media instagram terhadap body dissatisfaction remaja putri penggemar black pink di Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 93 orang remaja. Teknik pengambilan data dengan model skala likert. Berdasarkan uraian yang telah di paparkan di atas, maka dirumuskan sebuah hipotesis yang berbunyi: Ada hubungan negative antara intensitas penggunaan sosial media instagram terhadap body dissatisfaction dengan asumsi semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan sosial media maka semakin rendah body dissatisfaction dan sebaliknya semakin rendah intensitas penggunaan sosial media maka semakin tinggi body dissatisfaction. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara Intensitas pengguna instagram dengan Body dissatisfaction. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = -0,654, dengan Signifikan p= 0,000 < 0,05.Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0,428. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Intensitas pengguna instagram berdistribusi sebesar 16.50% terhadap Body dissatisfaction. This research aims to empirically test the relationship between intensity of use of social media Instagram and body dissatisfaction among young women who are black pink fans in Medan. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample in this study was 93 teenagers. Data collection technique using a Likert scale model. Based on the description explained above, a hypothesis is formulated which reads: There is a negative relationship between the intensity of use of social media Instagram and body dissatisfaction with the assumption that the higher the intensity of social media use, the lower the body dissatisfaction and vice versa, the lower the intensity of social media use, the lower the intensity of social media use. the higher the body dissatisfaction. Based on the results of product moment correlation analysis calculations, it can be seen that there is a negative relationship between Instagram user intensity and body dissatisfaction. This result is proven by the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.654, with significant p= 0.000 < 0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.428. This indicated that the intensity of instagram usage accounted for 16.50% of the variance in body dissatisfaction.en_US
