dc.description.abstract | Secara geografis wilayah Indonesia terletak di dalam lingkaran cincin api pasifik dan juga berada di pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik dunia, kondisi ini menjadi tantangan dalam merancang struktur bangunan bertingkat di Indonesia, beberapa Solusi untuk bangunan untuk menahan gempa adalah dengan memasang dinding geser atau bresing. Pada penelitian ini digunakan analisis pushover untuk mencoba membandingkan kinerja antara dinding geser dan bresing dengan menggunakan software ETABS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kinerja antara dinding geser dan bresing pada Rumah Susun Desa Silangkitang dengan menggunakan analisis pushover. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Pada arah X bangunan dinding geser total displacement sebesar 66,84 mm dicapai dengan base shear sebesar 8512,779 kN sedangkan bangunan bresing nilai total displacement sebesar 119,191 mm dengan base shear sebesar 9773,2007 kN Sementara pada arah Y bangunan dinding geser total displacement sebesar 166 mm dengan base shear sebesar 13228,6939 kN, sedangkan bangunan bresing total displacement sebesar 173 mm dengan base shear sebesar 8210,5339 kN. Level kinerja struktur berdasarkan ATC-40 dengan nilai drift pada bangunan dinding geser adalah 0,0031 pada arah X dengan level kinerja IO (Immidiate Occupancy) dan 0,011 pada arah Y dengan level kinerja DC (Damage Control). sedangkan nilai drift pada bangunan bresing adalah 0,0081 pada arah X dengan level kinerja IO (Immidiate Occupancy) dan nilai drift pada bangunan bresing arah Y adalah 0,011 dengan level kinerja DC (Damage Control). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dinding geser lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan bresing. Geographically, Indonesia is located within the Pacific Ring of Fire and at the convergence of three world tectonic plates, presenting challenges in designing multi-story buildings in Indonesia. One solution for earthquake-resistant buildings is the installation of shear walls or bracing systems. This research used pushover analysis to compare the performance of shear walls and bracing systems using ETABS software. The research aimed to compare the performance of shear walls and bracing systems in the Silangkitang Village apartment building using pushover analysis. The analysis results showed that, in the X direction, the shear wall building achieved a total displacement of 66.84 mm with a base shear of 8512.779 kN, while the bracing building had a total displacement of 119.191 mm with a base shear of 9773.2007 kN. In the Y direction, the shear wall building had a total displacement of 166 mm with a base shear of 13228.6939 kN, while the bracing building had a total displacement of 173 mm with a base shear of 8210.5339 kN. The performance level of the structure, based on ATC-40, indicated that the shear wall building had a drift value of 0.0031 in the X direction, with an Immediate Occupancy (IO) performance level, and a drift value of 0.011 in the Y direction, with a Damage Control (DC) performance level. The bracing building had a drift value of 0.0081 in the X direction, with an Immediate Occupancy (IO) performance level, and a drift value of 0.011 in the Y direction, with a Damage Control (DC) performance level. Based on these results, it can be concluded that shear walls are superior to bracing systems. | en_US |
