dc.description.abstractGaya komunikasi pimpinan memiliki peran penting dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan untuk menghasilkan kinerja yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya komunikasi pimpinan di New’s Fried Chicken Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara serta mengetahui hambatan komunikasi yang dilakukan pimpinan New’s Fried Chicken. Teori yang digunakan menurut Tubbs dan Moss (2008) yaitu The Controlling Style, The Equalitarian Style, The Structuring Style, The Dinamic Style, The Relinguishing Style and The Withdrawal Style. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 14 Orang. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat tiga gaya komunikasi yang di gunakan oleh pimpinan di New’s Fried Chicken Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara yaitu The Equalitarian Style (Komunikasi Dua Arah), The Structuring Style (Komunikasi Terstruktur) dan Relinguishing Style (Komunikasi Bersifat Terbuka). Gaya komunikasi ini dapat membantu pimpinan dalam berkomunikasi agar berjalan dengan baik dan lancer untuk menghasilkan kinerja berlangsung dengan baik. Maka dari itu pegawai juga akan lebih senang menjalankan sebuah kerjaannya tanpa adanya paksaan dan juga paksaan dari pimpinannya. Leadership communication style has an important role in influencing employee performance to produce good performance. This research aims to find out the communication style of the leadership at New's Fried Chicken Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi and to find out the communication barriers faced by the leadership of New's Fried Chicken. The theories used according to Tubbs and Moss (2008) are The Controlling Style, The Equalitarian Style, The Structuring Style, The Dynamic Style, The Relinguishing Style and The Withdrawal Style. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with interview methods. There were 14 informants in this study. The results of this research show three communication styles used by leaders at New's Fried Chicken Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, namely The Equalitarian Style (Two-Way Communication), The Structuring Style (Structured Communication) and Relinguishing Style (Open Communication). This communication style can help leaders communicate well and smoothly to produce good performance. Therefore, employees will also be happier carrying out their work without any coercion or coercion from their leaders.en_US
