Floating Hotel Resort di Danau Toba dengan Tema Arsitektur Tropis

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara kepulauan, memiliki potensi besar di sektor pariwisata berkat kekayaan alam dan budaya. Salah satu kawasan yang berkembang pesat adalah Danau Toba, yang telah ditetapkan sebagai Destinasi Super Prioritas oleh Kementerian Pariwisata. Kawasan ini mencakup 1.145 km² dengan lebih dari 120 objek wisata di 31 kecamatan ("Sinergi Pengembangan Lima Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas," 2020). Desa Tongging, yang terletak di sisi barat Danau Toba, memiliki potensi wisata menarik, seperti olahraga terjun payung dari Gunung Sipisopiso. Desa ini juga berperan penting dalam sektor pariwisata lokal, dengan berbagai usaha yang mendukung ekonomi masyarakat, seperti hotel, restoran, dan penyewaan alat olahraga. Kabupaten Karo memiliki iklim tropis dengan musim hujan antara Agustus hingga Januari dan musim kemarau antara Februari hingga Juli. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perancangan fasilitas wisata yang dapat menyesuaikan dengan iklim tropis di Danau Toba. Salah satu solusi yang diusulkan adalah perancangan Floating Hotel Resort di Danau Toba, yang akan menjadi alternatif akomodasi unik, dengan mempertimbangkan aspek ekologis dan sosial. Diharapkan resort ini dapat mendukung perekonomian lokal dan meningkatkan daya tarik wisata di kawasan tersebut. One of the areas that is growing rapidly is Lake Toba, which has been designated as a Super Priority Destination by the Ministry of Tourism. This area covers 1,145 km² with more than 120 tourist attractions in 31 sub-districts ("Synergy for the Development of Five Super Priority Tourism Destinations," 2020). Tongging Village, located on the west side of Lake Toba, has interesting tourism potential, such as skydiving from Mount Sipisopiso. The village also plays an important role in the local tourism sector, with various businesses that support the community's economy, such as hotels, restaurants, and sports equipment rentals. Karo Regency has a tropical climate with a rainy season between August to January and a dry season between February and July. Therefore, it is necessary to design tourist facilities that can adapt to the tropical climate in Lake Toba. One of the proposed solutions is the design of the Floating Hotel Resort in Lake Toba, which will be a unique alternative accommodation, taking into account ecological and social aspects. It is hoped that this resort can support the local economy and increase tourist attraction in the area.
