dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kemampuan adaptasi dengan persepsi pengembangan karir sebagai variabel mediasi. Kemampuan adaptasi merupakan kemampuan individu untuk dapat menyikapi perubahan dalam hidupnya, baik dari dalam dirinya maupun lingkungannya. Individu yang kemampuan adaptasinya baik akan bersikap realistik dan objektif sehingga tidak akan menunjukkan adanya kesenggangan antara dirinya dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap persepsi pengembangan karir anggota POLRI di POLDA Sumatera Utara, dengan nilai C.R. (t-statistik) sebesar 1,864 < 1,96 dan atau P-value sebesar 0.062 > 0.05. Terdapat pengaruh persepsi pengembangan karir terhadap kemampuan adaptasi anggota POLRI di POLDA Sumatera Utara, dengan nilai C.R. (t-statistik) sebesar 4,142 > 1,96 dan atau P-value dengan *** (0,000 < 0,05)/sangat signifikan. Tidak terdapat pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kemampuan adaptasi anggota POLRI di POLDA Sumatera Utara, dengan nilai C.R. (t-statistik) sebesar 0,006 < 1,96 dan atau P-value sebesar 0.996 > 0.05. Terdapat peran mediasi persepsi pengembangan karir pada pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kemampuan adaptasi anggota POLRI di POLDA Sumatera Utara, dengan P-value uji Sobel Test sebesar 0.04 < 0.05 (signifikan). This research aims to analyze the effect of family support on adaptation abilities with perceptions of career development as a mediating variable. Adaptation capacity is an individual's ability to be able to respond to changes in his life, both from within himself and his environment. Individuals with good adaptability will be realistic and objective so they will not show any gaps between themselves and the environment. This research uses quantitative methods. In this research, the sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The results of this research show that there is no effect of family support on the perception of career development of police officers in the North Sumatra POLDA, with the C.R. (t-statistic) of 1.864 < 1.96 and/or P-value of 0.062 > 0.05. There is an effect of career development perceptions on the adaptability of police officers in the North Sumatra POLDA, with the C.R. value. (t-statistic) of 4.142 > 1.96 and/or P-value with *** (0.000 < 0.05)/very significant. There is no effect of family support on the adaptability of police officers in the North Sumatra POLDA, with the C.R. value. (t-statistic) of 0.006 < 1.96 and/or P-value of 0.996 > 0.05. There is a mediating role of perceptions of career development on the effect of family support on the adaptability of police officers in the North Sumatra POLDA, with a Sobel Test P-value of 0.04 < 0.05 (significant).en_US
