Abstract: | Ekoenzim adalah produk fermentasi alami dari limbah organik yang memiliki potensi untuk memperbaiki kualitas air melalui proses biologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan ekoenzim yang berasal dari kulit nanas, kulit semangka dan kombinasi keduanya dalam menurunkan kadar kekeruhan pada air sumur gali di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Dalam penelitian ini, sampel air sumur gali dikumpulkan dan dianalisis sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dengan ekoenzim. Parameter utama yang diukur adalah tingkat kekeruhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ekoenzim secara signifikan mengurangi kadar kekeruhan dalam air sumur gali. Penurunan ini menunjukkan potensi besar ekoenzim sebagai solusi ramah lingkungan untuk pengolahan air. Dengan demikian, penggunaan ekoenzim dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kualitas air sumur gali di daerah penelitian. Ecoenzymes are natural fermentation products from organic waste which have the potential to improve water quality through biological processes. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using ecoenzymes derived from pineapple peel, watermelon peel and a combination of both in reducing turbidity levels in dug well water in Percut Sei Tuan District. In this study, dug well water samples were collected and analyzed before and after treatment with ecoenzymes. The main parameter measured is the level of turbidity. The results showed that the application of ecoenzymes significantly reduced turbidity levels in dug well water. This decrease shows the great potential of ecoenzymes as an environmentally friendly solution for water treatment. Thus, the use of ecoenzymes can be an effective and sustainable alternative in improving the water quality of dug wells in the research area. |
