dc.description.abstract | Pada era sekarang kebutuhan akan penggunaan bahan plastik semakin berkembang pesat. Untuk memastikan kualitas dari suatu bahan, maka diperlukan pengujian material agar memperoleh hasil dari bahan tersebut sebelum digunakan. Pengujian kekuatan impak suatu material sangatlah memiliki banyak manfaat. Salah satunya dapat mengetahui ketahanan suatu material dengan mencermati perpatahannya berdasarkan energi yang diberikan oleh pembebanan secara tibatiba. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini didapat secara eksperimental dan analisis. Sebelum memulai pengujian, bahan pengujian atau spesimen dibuat sesuai standar ASTM D6110-10 yang terdiri dari bahan Teflon dan Mcblue. Spesimen tersebut nantinya akan diuji terhadap 3 suhu yang berbeda yakni suhu ruangan, 50°C, dan 100°C menggunakan alat uji impak charpy. Kemudian hasil pengujian akan dibandingan dengan setiap variasi suhu dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik.Hasil dari pengujian terhadap spesimen yang menggunakan suhu ruangan dan 50°C menunjukkan bahwa spesimen mengalami kondisi patah. Sedangkan pada suhu 100°C spesimen tidak mengalami perpatahan. Nilai energi impak tertinggi dihasilkan oleh spesimen pada pengujian suhu 100°C sebesar 164,8 Joule dan nilai kekuatan impak tertinggi dihasilkan oleh spesimen pada pengujian suhu 100°C sebesar 1,284 J/mm2. Berdasarkan data hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa bahan Teflon yang diperkuat Mcblue memiliki dampak yang signifikan. In the current era, the need for the use of plastic materials is increasing growing rapidly. To ensure the quality of a material, it is necessary material testing to obtain results from the material before use. Testing the impact strength of a material has many benefits. One way is to find out the durability of a material by looking closely The fracture is based on the energy provided by a sudden load. The data obtained from this research was obtained experimentally and analysis. Before starting the test, a test material or specimen is created according to ASTM D6110-10 standards which consists of Teflon and Mcblue materials. The specimen will later be tested against 3 different temperatures, namely temperature room, 50°C, and 100°C using a Charpy impact test equipment. Then results tests will be compared with each temperature variation and presented in tabular and graphical form. Results of testing on specimens using room temperature and 50°C indicates that the specimen experiences broken condition. Meanwhile, at a temperature of 100°C the specimen does not experience fracture. The highest impact energy value was produced by the specimen in the test a temperature of 100°C is 164.8 Joules and the highest impact strength value is produced by specimen at a testing temperature of 100°C was 1.284 J/mm2. Based on data Test results show that the Teflon material is reinforced with Mcblue have a significant impact. | en_US |
