Infrastructure construction, such as storage tanks and methanol production facilities, requires strong foundations to support large structural loads. One of the most common methods of foundation construction is the installation of piles. One of the tools commonly used in high-rise building projects is a piling tool for foundation work. In the Riau Methanol tank construction project, drop hammer piling tools and Hydraulic Static Pile Drive (HSPD) were used. This research discusses productivity and several strategies to determine the cost and productivity of piling equipment. The data used was obtained from the project in the form of cost data and piling tool cycle time. From the analysis it is known that the productivity value of the piling tool which is embedded in 20 points and the drop hammer is 6 and the Hydraulic Static Pile Drive (HSPD) has a cost of IDR 2,111,003.66 while the drop hammer is IDR 2,003,908.46 and the difference between the two tools is IDR 107,095. 20. From this productivity, we can conclude that the Hydraulic Static Pile Drive (HSPD) piling tool is more efficient than the drop hammer tool. The drop hammer piling tool was chosen because it is relatively cheap and the Hydraulic Static Pile Drive HSPD was chosen because this method uses static pressure without causing negative impacts (noise and vibration) and has a fast driving speed.en_US
