This study aims to determine the differences in job satisfaction in terms of gender in office employees of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency of Medan City. The hypothesis proposed is that there are differences in job satisfaction in terms of gender with the assumption that female employees have higher job satisfaction than male employees. This writing uses a comparative quantitative method. The population is 176 people, and quota sampling is carried out consisting of 100 respondents from 50 male employees and 50 female employees. The data analysis method uses the Independent T-Test analysis technique. Based on the results of the Independent T-Test calculation, it is known that the sig value is 0.409> 0.05. Thus it is known that there is no difference in job satisfaction between the female and male groups, so the proposed hypothesis is rejected. Male job satisfaction is classified as moderate with an empirical mean value of 83.66 and an SD value of job satisfaction of 12.621, while female job satisfaction is classified as moderate with an empirical mean value of 81.51 and an SD value of job satisfaction of 10.726.
